Workplace Wellbeing

The pace at which people work now and the fact that we are always connected means work is getting faster and more stressful and organisations are expecting more out of people.  Organisations  are finding their employees are looking for more that a job, they are looking for an organisation that genuinely cares and supports them to be their best.
"We started our Employee Wellbeing program because we wanted to be more pro-active rather than re-active,  to give our people some time for themselves and some tools to handle their physical and emotional health.   Sick days and burnt out employees are a cost to our business and our brand.  We see giving back to our employees as a corporate responsibility."  Ingrid Jenkins, Head of HR, Microsoft Australia (Client)
About Alex
I am a Clinical Nutritionist, mum of three, passionate about helping people make eating well simple and practical.  Prior to studying Nutrition I  was a senior marketing manager in financial services so I understand the pressure of corporate environments and the importance of balancing work with physical and mental health.

Services

Individual holistic case taking, suggested nutrition and lifestyle modifications, meal plans and recipes provided

Tailored, hands on workshops and seminars:
  • Nutrition basics made easy
  • Practical nutritious ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Children's nutrition
  • Sugar and blood glucose management
  • Healthy approach to weight loss - and keeping the weight off.
  • creating your own meal plan
  • Mindful eating
  • Navigating the supermarket - decoding labels

My workshops are hands on and designed for busy people, with simple, practical ideas and education to make eating well  achievable and able to be maintained.
I tailor the workshops to the needs and knowledge level of the audience - we'll talk about food, prepare and eat food, share recipes and tips to make eating well tasty, fast and fun.
I know from experience as a working mum that most parents simply don't have time for fussy lunchboxes, and that anyone working long hours finds it challenging to prepare a healthy meal at the end of the day.

Integrated Wellness Programs

Integrated wellness programs
I bring together a team of experts, tailor the program to your needs and manage the program for you.  Modalities may include:   Nutrition, Mindfulness/meditation, massage, pilates, personal training.

Development and Management of Corporate wellbeing strategy
Many  companies don’t have dedicated resources available to develop and manage their own program.  I can work with you to develop, implement and manage your own program.  Start small, review, report and grow with success.
